How Much Does A Courier Cost?

If you’ve never used a same-day courier service then it’s difficult to figure out exactly what it costs. We’re surprisingly affordable, even when compared to overnight carriers for large scale deliveries.

Our Simple List of Services

Same Day

Our most requested service. A simple, direct collection and delivery service. We collect, we drive and we deliver. This is used by a large number of businesses that need to get orders delivered in a short timescale, or without risking goods being transhipped.

Pro-Tip: You don’t have to book a same-day delivery, on the same day it’s required. You can pre-book any time you like.

Overnight

Unlike some network overnight services, ours is actually more expensive than our same-day service. That’s because ours is a direct service. If you need goods to be delivered out-of-hours, or when it simply HAS to be there before 9am, then this is the service you need.

Eco-friendly / Economy

Need a dedicated vehicle, but also want to help the planet? Or maybe your delivery is not urgent, so you’re willing to wait and save a little money too. With our economy solution, we find an empty vehicle that is already heading in the direction you need and use that space. It saves them running empty, and it saves you overspending on hiring a different vehicle.

Same Day Delivery Vehicle Size Options

Small Van

This is the smallest vehicle size available as we don’t supply cars or motorcycles for deliveries.

Dimensions:
1.5m (L) x 1m (w) x 1m (h)

Weight Capacity:
500Kg

Minimum Charge:

£60

Midi Van

A step up from the small van, a little bit more capable for when you need that extra space, while keeping costs down.

Dimensions:
1.8m (L) x 1m (w) x 1m (h)

Weight Capacity:
650Kg

Minimum Charge:

SWB (Short Wheelbase)

The cross-over vehicle. This is the van we use when loads start to get serious and go from ‘just a few boxes’ to ‘palletised’.

Dimensions:
2.4m (L) x 1.2m (w) x 1m (h)

Weight Capacity:
900Kg

MWB (Medium Wheelbase)

The real workhorse for heavier pallets and other types of loads. The Medium wheelbase van can carry heavier loads than almost any other vehicle we use, but lacks the length of the LWB and XLWB.

Dimensions:
3.2m (L) x 1.2m (w) x 1.2m (h)

Weight Capacity:
1250Kg

LWB (Long Wheelbase)

One of the most popular van sizes you will see on the roads, along with the XLWB. It’s the perfect balance of volume and weight capacity.

Dimensions:
3.75m (L) x 1.2m (w) x 1.5m (h)

Weight Capacity:
1100Kg

Minimum Charge:

£80

XLWB (Extra-Long Wheelbase)

You will have seen a lot of vans in this category used by parcel delivery companies. They get generically categorised as ‘Sprinters’ although that is a specific model, and many brands have XLWB vans available.

Dimensions:
4.1m (L) x 1.2m (w) x 1.5m (h)

Weight Capacity:
1000Kg

Minimum Charge:

£85

XLWB Luton / Curtainside

This is the largest vehicle we’re currently able to supply and has limited availability. It’s intended for side-loading long items, although it can be used to loading up to 6 pallets (subject to weight)

Dimensions:
4m (L) x 2m (w) x 1.75m (h)
